Things To Do

The Comox Valley is a rich and vibrant area of British Columbia. There is so much to do during your stay here, we’ve picked out some of our favourites!

Explore Seal Bay Park

Take in the hiking trail leading to the beach and the panoramic view of the ocean.  Watch the seals and spot an eagle or two.  This park also has a large multi-use inland trail system. Trails are interconnected and well marked through second growth forests. Try a two km or a ten km.  Become nurtured by nature. Find directions here

Experience Mount Washington Resort / Strathcona Park

Our ski resort offers both Alpine and Nordic adventures.  Ski, snowboard, snowshoe and embrace the gift of winter.  Full facility lodges offer lessons, rentals and cuisine/bar.

In the summer months, immerse yourself in the scenic splendor when hiking in Strathcona Park.  Plenty of trails to accommodate all levels of outdoor enthusiasts. See directions to the nordic lodge, where plenty of hiking trails begin, here.

Shop At The Saturday Farmer’s Market

Popular with local folk and visitors alike.  Not to be missed.  This market offers a diverse range of products from fruits and veggies to award-winning cheeses to baked goods. Live local entertainment on site. Find directions here.

Visit A Local Winery Or Two

Sip an afternoon away with friends and loved ones at some of our local wineries.  Coastal Black; Beaufort; BlueMoon; Stonesthrow and 40 Knots to name a few. All within 15 minutes! For more information, including locations, check out Destination BC.

Take A River Swim

Hop on one of our bikes and ride to our nearby swimming hole tucked away on the Tsolum River.  A clean, calm pool for a quick dip or a leisurely swim. A gem – we’ll give you directions when you get here!

Kitty Coleman Beach and Boat Launch

Great local spot for a seaside picnic and ocean dip.  A public boat launch and fish cleaning station are available for use.  On site hosts will be happy to assist you.
